2005 - Present
Convinced I'd be around awhile, began development of 37212 Entertainment, also launched TECHNOEVO .. "Technological Evolution", developing technical support and solutions for a developing technological community. To broaden my portfolio, I launched ENVY Design/Build .. design and building with "Green" Concepts. April 2002 - 2005 Moved back to Colorado early 2002, began to reestablish my professional direction.
Sold 37212 and took year off, moved back to Colorado. August, 1992 - April, 2001 Built 37212, Inc. one of the first Internet companies and guided its growth and profitability through sometimes-turbulent times. As owner and President I hired, trained, lead and assured quality control and profitability for approximately 100 employees over that period. Through a browser based, "Cold Fusion" Job Tracking/Cost Control/Bonus system, we were able to control costs, on-time delivery and employee efficiency. We provided on-site hosting, connectivity and Website development for an esteemed list of clients including: Capitol Records - Dynamic Website utilizing Cold Fusion, Flash, Java, Real Audio and MP3 digital distribution. Developed a download system that eliminated overnight delivery of music and Artist graphics saving client nearly $100,000.00 annually. Instituted a system of useful data collection and a system that analyzed that input to make it meaningful to Client's marketing. Universal Music / Mercury Records / MCA Records - Hosted on our Sun servers, nearly 50 domains including several major Artists for client. Developed and implemented their complex programming, databases, Cold Fusion and collection of email addresses organized by Artist. Developed a Mass Mailing program that maintained communication with a "community" of over 100,000 fans. Instituted a MP3 digital download system that met the industry and Client's requirements. GooGoo / Standard Candy Company - In addition to developing an online "cut sheet" program, speeding delivery to sales reps and eliminating approximately $35-45,000.00 annually, created an animated mascot that guided the visitor through online sales of Standard Candy products. Consulted Standard Candy on connectivity, network design and implementation. Triton Boats - Hosted, designed (including an interface with Authorize.net at their inception) a complete eCommerce solution for accessories and apparel. Sales were processed through Authorize.net, Bank One and Verisign. ColdFusion was the underlying engine. Introduced a "color picker" program allowing customers to personalize their new boat. Also, provided a 3D walkthrough of several boat designs. Virgin Records - Similar to Capitol Records with the addition of "V-Man", an animated mascot to the comic book styled site. WOTR.net - Designed and developed four Internet radio stations that were unique (at that time … 1996-1999) in that they provided visual information about the Artist, label and album while the track was playing. In addition, offered link to Amazon to buy new CDs and "last played" list. Krispy Crème Doughnuts - Designed corporate presentations and animations for IT. KRB Music - Provided connectivity, hosting and developed an Intranet Catalog system to replace old Access database program. A.J. Smith Lumber Company - One of our most challenging projects. A.J. Smith's "doordivision.com" provided a system, utilizing ColdFusion/Java, graphic examples and questions, allowing contractors to configure commercial door and hardware requirements. The eCommerce solution utilized Authorize.net, Verisign and Bank One to process orders. We were the second client to utilize Yellow Freight's online shipping calculator based on weight, distance and item class to provide shipping cost. Platinum Jack - A Website for Michael Irvin (Dallas Cowboys) that was a predecessor to all of the online music sites of today. Too bad they didn't stick with it, as it would have been a success. United States Justice Department - Worked with ROCIC to develop an Internet based, criminal tracking system that focused on Gang activity. Software, hardware and OS experience:
